The annual Off-campus Studies Fair took place on Thursday, Sept. 22 in the atrium of the Center for the Sciences.
The fair is an event where students who are interested in studying abroad can learn about the many programs available to them. According to Josh Moore, this year’s fair was the largest ever.
The fair isn’t only important for students who wish to study abroad. It also benefits students who have recently returned from a semester off-campus.
“It’s a good way for me to reflect and process my experiences better,” said Ariana Anderson’12, the ambassador for Beloit College’s study abroad program in Senegal. She added, “I want to get people excited about Senegal, because it’s a pretty cool place.”
This is the first year that there are student ambassadors for Beloit study abroad programs.
